The7 Classic — WordPress & WooCommerce Theme

The7 Classic is the legacy ThemeForest release of The7. The current product generation is available directly from the official The7 website.

All ThemeForest purchases made less than 12 months ago are eligible to upgrade to the new product generation, The7 15, at no additional cost and receive direct The7 15 updates until 12 months from the original purchase date.

What is changing

ThemeForest has been a great home for The7 for almost 14 years. However, after a sharp decline in marketplace sales and a significant increase in Envato’s author fees, we can no longer fund ongoing The7 development under the old one-time purchase model.

Therefore, as of July 22, 2026, we moved new-generation The7 development to a direct subscription model with The7 15.

What is The7 15?

The7 15 is a new product generation built on a modern, modular block theme architecture while preserving compatibility with existing The7 websites. Elementor, WPBakery, and Custom modes remain available for existing non-FSE websites.

We worked hard to preserve continuity for existing The7 websites. The7 15 is a 1-click upgrade and migration from older versions of The7. Your website does not need to be rebuilt, and existing The7 child themes remain compatible.

ThemeForest buyers

All ThemeForest purchases made less than 12 months ago are eligible to upgrade to The7 15 at no additional cost and receive updates until 12 months from the original purchase date.

Websites built with The7 Classic remain fully functional and editable and continue to receive security and essential maintenance updates.

However, The7 Classic is no longer tested against new major versions of WordPress, PHP, Elementor, WPBakery, WooCommerce, and other plugins.

If you choose to remain on The7 Classic, we strongly recommend testing major WordPress, PHP, and plugin updates on a staging website before applying them to production. In case of a compatibility issue, we recommend freezing the existing stable software stack. Older WordPress versions routinely continue to receive security updates.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access to The7 products and services if we determine that a customer has misrepresented their location or is attempting to bypass these restrictions.
