What it is

EU Customs Tariff Fees for WooCommerce is a plugin that automatically adds the EU’s flat customs charge to orders at checkout. From 1 July 2026 the EU charges a flat duty for each type of product (by Harmonised Tariff Code) in low-value parcels coming from outside the EU. This plugin lets your store collect that charge cleanly, only for the EU countries you choose.

Who it’s for

Any WooCommerce store that ships physical goods into the EU from outside it — for example UK, US, or Asia-based shops selling to EU customers. It’s useful for store owners, dropshippers, and agencies setting up client stores who need to handle the new EU duty without manual workarounds.

How it works (in simple terms)

1. You create a “tariff code” for each kind of product you sell (for example Books = 49019900). The plugin makes a matching shipping class for it automatically.
2. You assign your products to that class — one by one, or in bulk by mapping a whole product category.
3. You tick which EU countries the charge applies to.
4. At checkout, the plugin adds one fee for each different tariff code in the order — never per item and never per quantity. So three of the same book = one charge; a book plus a card deck = two charges.
