EasyPlex is a complete native Android application with a Laravel and Vue administration panel for businesses, organizations, and content owners that operate a legally licensed video service. Manage movies, series, anime, live channels, users, subscriptions, credits, home-screen sections, playback settings, notifications, and mobile security from one browser-based control panel.

Important: EasyPlex does not include movies, television series, anime, live channels, streaming accounts, or distribution rights. Buyers must provide media they own or are authorized to distribute.

A separate one-time complete installation and configuration service is available for $79 USD. It covers Laravel web-panel setup, database installation, Android app connection, API and security configuration, branding setup, and a final deployment check.

This optional service is not included with the item purchase, requires a valid EasyPlex Envato license, and does not replace or extend standard Envato item support. Contact the author before payment to confirm hosting access, project requirements, delivery scope, and availability. Custom development is quoted separately.

DRM compatibility depends on the media format, device, Android version, DRM provider, license server, and the buyer’s commercial agreement with that provider. EasyPlex does not supply DRM licenses or protected media.

Technical requirements

• Android devices: Android 7.0 or newer; minimum API 24.
• Android development: Current Android Studio, JDK 17, Android SDK 36, and target API 36.
• Backend: PHP 8.0.2 or newer, Laravel 9.52, Composer 2, and MySQL or MariaDB.
• Web server: Apache with mod_rewrite or Nginx, HTTPS, URL rewriting, and cron access.
• PHP extensions: OpenSSL, PDO MySQL, cURL, Mbstring, JSON, Fileinfo, XML, GD or Imagick, ZIP, and Sodium where available.
• Minimum server: 2 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, and 5 GB free storage for a small catalog without local video processing.
• Recommended server: 4 GB or more RAM and storage sized for artwork, backups, logs, uploads, and FFmpeg temporary/output files.
• Background work: Supervisor or systemd for Laravel queue workers, plus a one-minute Laravel scheduler cron.
• Vue build tools: Node.js 20.x and npm 10.x only when editing and rebuilding administration assets.

Node.js is not required at runtime when using the supplied compiled administration assets. The package intentionally does not contain Composer’s generated vendor/ directory; run composer install --no-dev --optimize-autoloader during deployment.

Content rights

• No copyrighted video, audio, artwork, subtitle, live channel, streaming account, or distribution license is included.
• Buyers must use self-hosted media or a provider that has explicitly authorized them to distribute the content.
• Metadata imported from TMDB or another metadata service remains subject to that service’s terms and attribution requirements.
• Third-party service names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; EasyPlex is not affiliated with or endorsed by those services.
• Availability of a technical URL field does not grant permission to scrape, hotlink, rebroadcast, download, or redistribute third-party media.

Third-party services and buyer responsibilities

The EasyPlex purchase does not include accounts, credentials, subscriptions, usage allowances, or service fees for any third-party platform. These integrations are optional unless the buyer enables the related feature. Buyers must create and maintain their own accounts, supply their own API keys or OAuth credentials, review current pricing and quotas, and comply with each provider’s terms, privacy rules, regional availability, and content policies.

• Stripe: A separate Stripe merchant account and API/webhook credentials are required. Stripe may charge payment-processing, dispute, currency-conversion, or other fees, and service availability and terms vary by country.
• PayPal: A separate PayPal Business/developer account and API/webhook credentials are required. PayPal may charge transaction, withdrawal, conversion, dispute, or other fees and applies its own eligibility and acceptable-use terms.
• Firebase / Firebase Cloud Messaging: A separate Google/Firebase project and buyer-supplied configuration or service credentials are required. Free quotas and product limits apply; some usage or connected Google Cloud services may require billing under Google’s current terms.
• OneSignal: A separate OneSignal account, application, and credentials are required when this notification provider is selected. Plan limits, paid features, message allowances, and OneSignal’s terms apply.
• TMDB API: A separate TMDB account and API key are required for metadata import. Commercial use may require a separate written agreement and applicable fees. Buyers must follow TMDB’s attribution, API usage, rate-limit, branding, and content terms. EasyPlex is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
• S3-compatible object storage: A separate AWS or compatible storage-provider account, bucket, endpoint, and credentials are required. Storage, requests, transfer/egress, CDN, and related infrastructure may incur provider charges and remain subject to the selected provider’s terms.
• GeoIP provider: A separate account or license and API key/database may be required for the provider selected by the buyer. Lookups may have quotas or charges, and buyers are responsible for privacy, data-retention, and regional-compliance obligations.
• Google Sign-In: A separate Google Cloud/Firebase project, OAuth client configuration, consent-screen setup, and signing fingerprints are required. Google quotas, verification requirements, branding rules, data policies, and terms apply; connected Google services may have separate billing.
• Facebook Login: A separate Meta for Developers account and Facebook app, credentials, configuration, and any required app review are required. Meta platform, privacy, branding, data-use, and regional-availability terms apply; connected services may impose separate limits or costs.
• Advertising networks: Each enabled advertising SDK or network requires the buyer’s own publisher account, application/placement IDs, consent configuration, and policy compliance. Eligibility, revenue, quotas, SDK terms, and possible service costs vary by network.
• DRM and license servers: Widevine, PlayReady, ClearKey, or another licensed-delivery workflow requires buyer-controlled media and, where applicable, a separate DRM/vendor agreement and license-server service. Licensing, hosting, and delivery costs are not included.
• Email / SMTP provider: Email delivery requires buyer-supplied SMTP or supported mail-provider credentials. Sending limits, domain verification, anti-spam requirements, deliverability rules, and usage charges are determined by the selected provider.

Third-party pricing, limits, APIs, and terms can change independently of EasyPlex. Buyers should confirm that every selected service is available and suitable for their intended country, audience, content, and expected traffic before purchase or launch.

License activation dependency

The administration panel performs remote purchase-license activation and periodic validation against the author’s licensing service. Initial activation and later validation require outbound HTTPS and DNS connectivity. If the licensing service is unreachable or the purchase license is invalid, protected administration functionality may be unavailable until connectivity or the license is restored.
